<p>The Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) is the register where details of security interests in personal property can be registered and searched. The Insolvency and Trustee Service Australia (ITSA) is the Australian Government agency responsible for administering the PPSR.</p>
<p>Personal property is any form of property other than land, buildings or fixtures which form a part of that land. It can include tangibles such as cars, art, machinery and crops; as well as intangibles such as intellectual property and contract rights. A personal property security is when a secured party takes an interest in personal property as security for a loan or other obligation, or enters into a transaction that involves the supply of secured finance. An example is when a person borrows money from a bank and offers it as collateral or security for the loan. The bank's interest over the collateral is a personal property security.</p>
<p>The PPS Register enables lenders and businesses to register their security interests. Secured parties, buyers and other interested parties can search the PPS Register to find out if a security interest is registered over the personal property.</p>
<p>Buyers need to make sure that the personal property they are buying does not have a security interest over it. For example, if you buy a car that still has money owing on it; the car could be repossessed by the person who lent money against it. As a result, our restored elevating work platforms leave us completely refreshed and nearly new. They are reliable, secure and meet or surpass the manufacturer’s original standards.</p>
<p>Through our service company Access Worx, we are also part of a program involving the recovery of used oils. The used products are recovered and recycled for other purposes.</p>
<p>Access Sales & Spares also promotes the appropriate disposal of oils and waste products, as just another way to achieve a greener environment. </p>
<p>Access Sales & Spares has adopted the “paperless office”, a now rapidly growing innovation in the work office, and enables us to use our resources more efficiently and reduce our impact on the environment with reduced usage of greenhouse gases, fuel consumption and emissions. Over the past 6 months, Access Sales & Spares has been working with CG IT Solutions in designing and developing a proto-type software programme that allows us to take field service to the next level.</p>
<p>The software enables our service technicians’ onsite to have the flexibility of transferring data from field to office or office to field. The functionality ensures clear information is delivered to the mobile service technician and provides an interactive cloud based support service with real time visual capability aiding in fault diagnosis and repair. Field service technicians will be able to complete service job cards more efficiently onsite, thus minimising costs, error and paperwork while maximising productivity and, to add, works towards implementing more environmentally friendly business processes. All of the above qualities combined equal reduced operational costs and enable Access Sales & Spares to pass the savings onto its customers.</p>
